About the Event

Beating the Blues is a walking challenge to encourage walking a mile every day to interrupt the stress response. Stress is a significant part of our daily lives and it can easily build up and become overwhelming. However studies have shown that just 20 minutes of aerobic exercise each day is the easiest way to rewire your brain and body to fight off anxiety, stress and weight gain. We will spend 3 months walking a mile a day to reach a goal of 100 miles. At the achievement of 100 miles, you get a finisher medal and a Beating the Blues canvas tote bag!

If you upgrade to the VIP status, you will receive the medal, the canvas tote bag and your choice of a short sleeve Beating the Blues T-shirt or a Beating the Blues Sleeveless shirt.
